During these difficult times our dedicated teams are working around the clock to continue looking after our young people. To facilitate social distancing, our office based support staff will be working from home wherever possible and can be contacted using the numbers on our Contact Us page. We are still reviewing all referrals, offering placements where relevant, and planning for young people to move into our homes where it is safe to do so. Despite the challenges we all face during these testing times, we are committed to supporting you and our young people.
For the Mexican celebration of Cinco De Mayo, one of our homes whipped up a Mexican feast including loaded nachos and shredded chicken and vegetarian Chimichangas, which went down so well that they are likely to become a regular feature on the home's menu.
Talking of which, the staff in the home are busy selecting the best recipes and creating recipe books for the young people, which we are sure will come in useful when they take their next steps towards independence. The books are filled with their favourite dishes and will remind them of the family traditions we have established with them.
