During these difficult times our dedicated teams are working around the clock to continue looking after our young people. To facilitate social distancing, our office based support staff will be working from home wherever possible and can be contacted using the numbers on our Contact Us page. We are still reviewing all referrals, offering placements where relevant, and planning for young people to move into our homes where it is safe to do so. Despite the challenges we all face during these testing times, we are committed to supporting you and our young people.
Our Bedfordshire homes made the most of their half term holiday with a wide range of activities. The young people and staff were clearly kept busy with fun and exciting adventures all crammed into one week.
They all returned to school this week, working hard and planning for their next adventures during the Easter holiday.
This month the boys and staff at Nightingale had a good clear out of their unwanted clothes to donate to Mission Malawi.
At Mission Malawi, staff sort through the clothes and take them back to Africa, where the fabric is used to make new dresses and clothes for the families who need them.
The Home Manager at Nightingale said "Staff at Mission Malawi were overwhelmed with how much we donated. Our home has been working together with Mission Malawi for over 2 years now and the boys really enjoy seeing the Malawi staff when they come to collect the clothes"
