Our Cheshire school came into the new academic year full of enthusiasm!
We welcomed new staff and pupils together with fresh ideas. Team building games and activities have helped everyone to build good foundations to their relationships and started the term off on a high.
One member of staff came into school on the back of coming 19th in the World Windsurfing Championships and our youngsters are looking forward to their paddle-boarding outdoor education with him from October. Two other members of staff are also starting their HLTA courses and proving that we are always striving for excellence.
As 'The Great British Bake Off' continues some pupils joined in by making animal shaped bread and creating food themed around Roald Dahl. The pupils followed instructions and even put their own twists on things to show how previously learnt skills could be used to improve their outcomes.
We are delighted that some of our Key Stage 4 students are accessing courses at local colleges and following in the footsteps of our outgoing Year 11's who have successfully been placed in colleges pursuing things including Business Studies and Journalism.
Everyone is looking forward to the term ahead with lots of exciting and interesting learning taking place.
