Oracle Care is an established specialist residential therapeutic service for young people, committed to our duty of safeguarding and promoting their welfare whilst delivering exceptionally high standards of therapeutic care and education. Our current job opportunities are:

SPECIALIST PRACTITIONER — Congleton
(Psychologist; Counsellor; Psychotherapist; Social Worker)
Package up to £35,000 depending on qualifications and experience

We are looking for a Specialist Practitioner to join our Clinical Team to provide individual intervention work young people in our service, support our integrated care, education and therapy programmes with young people, and share our commitment to making a difference in young people’s lives.

The successful candidate will already have

  • A professional qualification in Social work, Psychology or Psychotherapy and
  • post graduate qualifications in a therapeutic approach
  • Registration as a qualified practitioner with the relevant professional body, (or within 6-12 months of achieving this)
  • At least 3-5 years (minimum of 2 after completion of post-graduate qualification) experience in applying therapeutic models of intervention in various settings
  • Sound knowledge and experience of the application of clinical risk assessment tools in the assessment and management of interpersonal aggression
  • Sound knowledge of the aetiology of sexually abusive and sexually aggressive behaviours in young people, and the relevant risk management/risk resolution strategies
  • Proven abilities in the planning, delivery and monitoring of clinical programmes for young people, and their families
  • Experience in producing high quality clinical reports
  • Experience of working effectively in multi-disciplinary teams

Residential Care Workers — South Cheshire/North Staff area
Package from £15,000 to £19,000
depending on qualifications and experience

Due to company expansion we require 6 experienced Residential Care Workers to join our team. You will need the skills to be able to implement processes and procedures and develop a strong team ethos. 

The successful candidates will already have

  • Must have proven experience in residential child care including key worker
  • NVQ 3 qualified in childcare and must undertake mandatory training
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Report writing experience
  • Able to understand and empathise with the needs of the young people
  • Full manual driving licence
  • Must be at least 21 (National Minimum Standards)

Two Residential Care Workers — Bedford area
Package from £15,000 to £19,000
depending on qualifications and experience

We are looking for two experienced Residential Care Workers to join our team.

The successful candidate will already have

  • At least 3 years experience in residential child care including key worker
  • NVQ 3 qualified in childcare and must undertake mandatory training
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Report writing experience
  • Able to understand and empathise with the needs of the young people
