Oracle Care is an established specialist residential therapeutic service for young people, committed to our duty of safeguarding and promoting their welfare whilst delivering exceptionally high standards of therapeutic care and education. We aim to be exceptional and unique both in the way we deliver our service to young people and how we support and encourage team members to contribute to their personal development and our service.

Our current job opportunities are:

Residential Care Workers required in Bedford and Congelton to work flexible hours
£9.00 per hour — plus £18.00 per sleep in
We will pay a monthly retainer of £100 on completion of at least one weekend per month

Due to company expansion we require experienced Bank Residential Care Workers to join our team. You will need the skills to be able to implement processes and procedures and develop a strong team ethos. Your normal working hours will be on an adhoc basis dependent upon need, covering annual leave, sickness and staffing levels. You will accrue annual leave based on the number of hours you complete.

The successful candidate will already have

  • Must have proven experience in residential child care including key worker
  • NVQ 3 qualified in childcare and must undertake mandatory training
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Report writing experience
  • Able to understand and empathise with the needs of the young people
  • Must have a Full manual driving licence
  • Must be at least 21 (National Minimum Standards)
