About Us

Hello, and welcome to our website!

My name is Steve Bromley, and I am CEO here at Oracle Care & Education. I would like to tell you a little about us and what we do.

Oracle Care & Education started life back in 2006 and I was fortunate enough to be part of the original team; my role at that point was Head Teacher. I couldn’t have imagined back then that I would be writing to you now as CEO.

Since 2006, our Care, Education and Clinical Teams have nurtured and supported over 113 young people, from over 43 different Local Authorities, ranging from Scotland to the South Coast. We have 12 homes (2 or 3 bedded) and two schools (DFE registered and ISA affiliated) split evenly over our two hubs in Bedfordshire and Staffordshire/Cheshire.

So What Do We Do?

Oracle exists to give young people with very complex histories and needs a chance to break out from a spiral of negative and sometimes risky behaviour. We provide them with the safety and positive relationships needed to build their hope and enable them to have a better future. People who work here want to make a difference and understand the needs of the young people and the behaviours they may present, as well as how to manage, support and influence change in relation to these behaviours.

We work with a range of complex needs.

We are strongest when we work together as a Community, creating a sense of belonging for staff and young people, where we celebrate and work together to improve and develop.

We go the extra mile.

I am genuinely proud of the achievements and success of our community in supporting the young people in our care, helping them to feel safe, giving them a sense of belonging and the opportunity to grow and develop their skills, and enabling a positive move into adulthood.

It is the young people themselves who have the biggest impact on our lives and it is the chance to make a difference which makes this one of the most challenging yet rewarding jobs in the world...

Steve
